What does a management system look like?

There are no strict rules on what a management system should look like. If you're already using SharePoint, Google, Confluence, or similar platforms, we can leverage those to build a fancy cloud-based tool. That way, the system is easily accessible and more user-friendly. But a simple set of Word documents on your server can just as well. We will look at your current systems and requirements to find the perfect fit. 

What kind of information does a management system contain?

The ISO requirements for management systems are somewhat vague. That's why it's so important to get a system that's tailored to your company. Depending on your business and its requirements, your management system could contain information on your production process, employee onboarding, risk procedures, information security policies, sales guidelines, and more. It's a set of procedures and instructions for everyone involved in the business – a summary of who does what, why, how, and when.

Quality management systems are the most well-known management systems, as they are a requirement for ISO 9001. Our approach to setting up a well-functioning management system is based on the PLAN - DO - CHECK - ACT cycle. We aim to provide everyone with clear, understandable, and workable instructions that define expectations, responsibilities, and actions to achieve your goals. This process is important to ensure people understand why they should follow a particular procedure. For instance, why is it important to get back to a potential client within two business days? Or why are certain security measures necessary to protect the confidential information of customers? Once we set up the management system, we walk everyone through it, word for word. That's how we ensure everything is as it should be, down to the last detail. 

Aftercare and continuous improvement

Our job isn't done once the management system is in place. With internal audits, we ensure everything is up to date, functioning effectively, and clear to everyone involved. Optionally, we can fulfill the role of Security or Quality Officer, to keep make sure the system is used as intended, and to look for ways to continuously improve. For instance, we’ll help you interpret the results on your KPI’s and define which actions are necessary for improvement. We’ll help you set suitable objectives, and look for alternatives if a certain process doesn’t work as intended.
